Yes, indeed. The never-ending quest for that perfect nail salon -- near home, work (or your SO's place) can be a challenge. And with so many to choose from (most of us have at least 5 - 7 decent choices within a few blocks).
Personally - it' s not always a question of how chi-chi a place is -- though being fanatically clean and professional is always the baseline. But it's often more a question of "ambience" and mood, and getting just the right level of plush in that pedi-chair -- not to mention how friendly and welcoming the staff is -- than the glitter.
Well, we have some stellar nail salons in our network - some even WE were surprised to discover, throughout Manhattan. Having visited EVERY SINGLE nail salon in Manhattan, at least 3 -5 times (I know, is it possible), we feel our staff is pretty equipped to speak about salons in many dimensions.
